i can see why the confusion - i was confused on this too. however the requirements are:
- passport issued less than 10 years ago - yes this is fine since passport issue date is 6 august 2015, and travel day is 24 may 2025, so less than 10 years
- passport has at least 3 months validity from the departure from greece - well this would have to be a validity date of 1 october 2025 or later (expected departure date is 1 june 2025). the normal 10 year expiry date would be 6 august 2025, but the passport is actually valid until 6 december 2025. so for the purposes of this point, does greece/eu/schengen recognise the "extra" validity given beyond the 10 years?
- post 6 suggests they do, in which case the denial was incorrect;
- if they do not recognise the "extra" validity beyond 10 years, then the denial was correct.
