$100 is the average weekend going price for LeM. JW Marriott seems to have dropped their pricing by a lot after hiking it at the start of the year.

No experience with STARS, but I've booked several different rates types at this property, including one that included restaurant breakfast (which they'd just started offering Bonvoy elites at the end of '24) and buffet dinner, on Christmas Eve no less. I've come to the conclusion you either go for the cheapest rate with the mindset you'll be dining off site (Lowey, in the nearby Oakwood building, is one of my favorite restaurants in Jakarta), or book a Club room. For me, I'd happily pay three dollars extra to have access (as well as a 'guaranteed' renovated room) and forgo the $100 credit. That said, in four years, I have not have (as yet) been assigned one of RC Mega's infamous unreno-d rooms when booking base rates, but many FTers report no such luck.
Thanks for chiming in and dining advice. STARS is like Virtuoso or Amex FHR rate, comes with the fixed number of perks. Club room rate is actually $3 cheaper than STARS. It's a no brainer for 1 night stay if you have a place where to spend it. I checked Dining section in the App and it doesn't look they operate any worthwhile F&B outlets, Asia being their base and only restaurant.

I got an email from the hotel, could be useful for folks:
Greeting’s from The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Mega Kuningan

Thank you for being a valued Ambassador member. I would like to take a moment to clarify your benefit. Please note that at The Ritz-Carlton, Club Lounge access is not available for all Marriott Bonvoy membership tiers. However, at The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta Mega Kuningan, we are pleased to extend an exclusive benefit to our loyal members at the Gold tier and above, providing access to our Elite Lounge.

This lounge is located in our Asia Restaurant and is available daily from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, where you can enjoy dinner during your stay and at Asia restaurant serving Seafood and Japanese at Buffet . And breakfast is not included with this benefit.

We look forward to welcoming you and ensuring you have a memorable stay with us.

Thank you and have a wonderful day.
It looks like they've got an inferior lounge open for Golds and up.

What about Le Meridien? Is it a nice hotel, worthwhile F&B outlets? Totally irrational but I have always had nice experience with LeM even those not famous for good service (LeM l'Etoile, LeM Nice, LeM Jimbaran), so tempted to give it a try, especially as JW seems to have very strong Retirement Community vibes.
