My good lady and my daughter off to Dublin for the weekend, different bookings as wife going business and daughter going economy - wife going for PFL and will have 9 years and 300 xp in the bank by the end of May.

She tells me today, no recognition on ABZ-AMS leg but on AMS-DUB she had a birthday card and piece of cake waiting at her seat (obviously its her birthday today too). Stewardess must have seen my wife speaking to my daughter when she was boarding as when my daughter took her seat, stewardess came up to her and asked if it was her mother (my wife) in the business class seat. When she confirmed it was her, she said then go and sit next to her - now they are in seat 1D and 1F - this was whilst still at the gate.

Very good service from the crew indeed.
