This hotel is a mad house, so chaotic

Lots of airline crews stay here, at least 4 different airline crew were at the lobby when I was there.
Add in Emirates layover for business class pax as well.
Super crowded but it is a very big hotel.

Room is really large though a bit old.

Hotel does have free shuttle to Dubai Mall.
Seems many hotels do this in Dubai.

No renovation that I could see.
