I think an order has been signed banning the metric system, even though it makes the most sense and is used by just about the entirety of the rest of the world.
OMNI but def does not make the most sense for everyday common use. Fahrenheit correctly distributes the range of temps humans experience and units of measurement are based mostly on body parts or things we can see. Metric far superior for science and math though.
