At what point is a CR2 considered to be removed from the fleet? Some of the "parked" frames have been in TUS for over two years. Interesting that repaints continue when there are parked repaints. I suppose this could be related to bigger required maintenance checks that could be done if the frame was needed.
Reportedly by the end of next year, the CR2s are gone gone as the CR5s replace them. UA is still taking EMB-175 deliveries, which is allowing them to phase out the EMB-170s and CRJ-700s, with the CRJ-700s headed for CR5 conversion.
