Which would really show UA is clueless, given Y/B/M pricing (standing alone) was usually not better than J/C/D/Z/P so likely was being accessed by people who couldn't buy the latter for employer policy. Or because all lower fare classes were sold out, in which case UA was already maxing the revenue (and probably weren't going to upgrade that passenger anyway).
