Also as mentioned, hopping between properties (whether city or AI) also quite easy when nearby/walkable. OP mentioned some properties next to each other.
Finally, hopping between properties ok if planned and logistics work:
eg in Mallorca was at AluaSun,
then Secrets (when one night was totally booked at AluaSun, so not in my control) then back to AluaSun .... left larger bag at Alua, just took a daypack to Secrets, so was like a mini-excursion where i didn't need to return 10km to Alua Sun
then for final night of Mallorca stayed at Zoetry which is nearer to airport (had to go back in that direction anyways, and it was beyond the airport )
and
i was there in early APril ...if later April when Dreams Magluf opened, then 100% would have walked 2km/3km to Dreams (and left bad at Alua or changed to Dreams) ...easy to go a few km ...need to exercise anyways
Though i mentioned distances, it's more about time / effort (ie relaxation/enjoyment vs pain) eg. if two properties next to each other and check-in/out process takes a few hours at each, then wouldn't be as attractive
My initial plan was to spend 2 nights in 2 different brands. 4pm Checkout & neighboring properties would minimize some inconvenience. Ziva and Zilara seem like the obvious first pairing.
Appreciate others providing input too!
As for the why? Boredom & collecting EQN.
