Thanks for the insightful comparison. I concur with you that AF inflight crew is excellent, even in Y. Next month I will have a chance to try AF J CDG-SFO and I'm looking forward to it. I love the buffet bar concept. Unfortunately I will be in an old Business cabin and not the new one. Your comment about the person in front reclining sounds like LH old J. It is very difficult to get out without disturbing your neighbor if you have a window seat. I believe that both AF and LH old J had the same seat pitch in J at 48".

I see that you have also experienced LH J. How would you compare the meal service between that and AF J? My J experience on LH was excellent (FRA-MIA). I had a wonderful crew but I have found that their cheese/dessert course as well as the second pre-arrival meal is a bit weak. I think one of the best F cabins out there is on SWISS. I flew them MIA-ZRH-MIA and meals were just spectacular, like dining at a 4*. The crew was superb to say the least. Every step of the service was executed masterfully.
