No experience, but also don't see what there is to be apprehensive about. Every member who turns 18 automatically receives the "GenAIRation" benefits, and upon turning 26 they lose them again, as per Chapter 2 of the M+B T&Cs.

There is no suggestion that your daughter loses her Gold status or any of those perks, but rather that she gains access to an additional suite of perks that remain valid until she turns 26.

The discount is applicable only to the member. It can't be used when travelling with anyone else. She cannot buy a "multiple person PNR" and get a discount for all of you - or even just for herself. As per point 7 of chapter 2, the discount only applies when she buys tickets for herself, i.e. she cannot travel on the same PNR as the rest of you ("No booking can be made for another person nor can additional people be added to the same booking"). If travelling together, she should buy her own ticket separately (to obtain the discount) while the rest of the family travels on a separate ticket.
