Still using April menus well into May. Lamb and potato gratin were excellent. Salad odd, but edible. Cheese and passion fruit panna cotta were nice.

Another lacklustre service. IFL left his paperwork and half drunk coffee on the table on boarding. Opened the tray table to find it was filthy. 12 rows of Club and full cabin. A drinks round and meals were hand run from galley up to Row 6 and then from the trolley.

Lamb would have paired well with a red wine. Shame I wasn’t offered a drink with the meal. Row 1 offered drinks when trays were cleared and were then promptly ignored when a tea and coffee trolly run was done. No other drinks offered for the remaining 1 hour and 40 minutes of the flight and crew rarely seen in the cabin.

I’m glad this was an Avios booking and not on a ludicrously expensive cash booking as LHR/AGP CE tickets often are. Come back BA Euroflyer… all is forgiven!
