Flew 835 BKK-DOH in F on Tuesday, and 743 DOH-BOS yesterday. There was caviar on both flights, and there's a difference in the service. The caviar service in J is exactly half of what it is in F. In F, I got a whole tin, unopened, and six blinis. In J I got half a tin on a plate (literally in the precise shape of a circle cut in half) and three blinis.
I love caviar.
I have had caviar in QR J several times and it was of extremely poor quality. But I enjoyed the whole service with blinis etc..
I had caviar a couple of times in F , before they introduced it in J, and the quality was excellent. Different products.
Maybe they have now downgraded the F caviar.
