On that note, ANA just announced that the pricing for AMC members upgrading in advance will be merged into the day of departure upgrade pricing, ending up in the higher day of departure upgrade, plus the price for eg. Haneda Naha will be increased to 18,000 yen. Making it more expensive than JAL's first class day of departure upgrade to Naha. But I guess JAL will get inspired....
