Recently stayed 3 nights.

was upgraded to a suite without asking on the fourth floor and was told it was great room but it’s a little far away from the elevators. I said fine. This was a mistake. There are supposedly 96 rooms on the fourth floor by the numbering of the rooms and assuming half is on one side, I got the last room in the upper 90s. Through some meeting room areas, then through some small door leaving through another hallway and a half round building, it was a good 10 minutes from front desk to “around” the room that I was at. And there are no other routes. I didn’t even go in. I think a room at the ritz Carlton would have been closer. Treked back to front desk and asked for a room in the tower and given a standard room, a relatively large room though.

no amenity in the room because of the room switch. Room large with comfortable bed and large bathroom with big shower and tub. Kind of a classic decor.

Lounge on the 2nd floor is big. The door is weird positioned against the lounge desk making going in and out difficult if anyone is standing in front of the desk. Happy hour consisted of many hot items including a daily meat station. Lots of cold items. Service is good. Afternoon tea consists of a few finger sandwiches and pastries. Breakfast is standard stuff, not extravagant.

breakfast can also be taken in the lower level restaurant. The restaurant reminds me of walking through a Las Vegas hotel with some bars and restaurants on both sides. Lots of options. The roti is good. Lots of proteins (though Malaysian mostly.).

swimming pool on the 6th was great to cool off. Gym appeared to be decent.

Overall, not a bad hotel. The rates were about $10 more than the Westin next door and $20 less than ritz Carlton behind. It’s a busy hotel. Service is decent. Good location across from the pavilion. Lots of eateries. Getting out of the area in the morning is a pain with grab. Lots of cars.

club lounge sheet for those that are interested.
