Stayed here last year (January 2024), this hotel is terrific! As a globalist also got a harbor view room with amazing views (but not a suite) with a terrific welcome gift (cheese and desert). Very classy decor, outstanding service, breakfast was terrific, in good location. I think I got this for 20,000 points before it moved up a category.

New Zealand has a lot of amazing small botique non- chain hotels which the Capital one venture X and Chase air canada pay yourself back are good for; the Park Hyatt auckland is one of the few terrific points hotels. Wish I had more time here but spent most of it on the south island (the war museum is certainly worth going to, also ate at Ahi. restaurant which is close to hotel, which was featured in a video on my flight to AKL on United). Looking forward to staying the next time in NZ!
