This thread is our main forum guidepost, and those two topics you referenced have wikipoists of their own. Circa 2019, a hit and run poster told us that this thread was way out of date. His criticisms were correct. You fixed it in 2023, and I have given it a revamp. I think I covered the basics, but please feel free to expand.

ETA::I skipped over the "Flights to China" thread, which has been extremely relevant since COVID.
