Update: Today in around 24h from my email to them, they reinstated my gold card. But now I cannot see that my status is protected, but till end of this year I am going to collect another 50k miles with TK, so will get the Elite+ and also the status protection anyway due to soft landing from E+. No return email with any explanation - only received a congratulations email like i'd normally reach the gold level.
