Having flown DL's new and old 767 interiors in first between Hawaii and the mainland, in addition to HA's A330 and 787 interiors in first, my ranking would be:

HA 787 first > DL new 767 first > HA A330 first > DL old 767 first

Both HA's 787s and DL's 767s with the new interiors are great. Is there any better first class between Hawaii and the continental USA than these two? AA's three-class 77Ws used to rotate to Honoulu sometimes and the first cabin was great, but I don't think that happens anymore. United?

Note the HA's 787s do not yet have wifi.

As for lounges, HA is scheduled to join OneWorld sometime in 2026. I would imagine that OneWorld lounge access will become possible at that time.

It will be interesting to see what happens with the upcoming HA lounge construction at HNL. I hope they bring back something like Apartment 1929, but I guess that's unlikely…
