We went through the crew passport lane (that was a nice touch though not sure if authorized—stay tuned) then took the train to J/K/L gates. She then escorted me again through passport control (did I really need to go through passport control twice??) again using the crew lane, but this time she proceeded to get lectured by the official that it was a crew-only lane and that he had no idea what GS was. The GS agent seemed very confused and apologetic; would not be surprised if it was her first day on the job. After he reluctantly let us through, she pointed me to the Senator Lounge, then left.
It all seemed rather pointless but I guess it was a nice gesture/effort.
no you didn’t need to go thru passport control once. You could have had that easier and faster without the “help” by just staying outside Schengen area
