I am not as ambitious as the OP and I had to book in a hurry to meet the promo deadline so I didn't hit many places in Sweden and Denmark, perhaps that will be a future exercise.

Interesting, WF prices the base fare for Alf hft for 9 usd. So each tix is 41 USD tax included. I guess I hit most northern airport cheaply.

Bus to TOS, then plan to do a ferry to harstad and then bus to EVE.

I use the entur app, the price for the ferry from Tromso to Harstad is half the price when it is on Saturday comparing to other day of the week? Is it normal? If so, I will do the ferry on Saturday.

Eve osl cph Sundsvall for 7500 miles. While it is costing more miles to go to Sweden from Norway. The cash tix could be a better deal but I don't have skyteam status so the cheapest fare wouldn't have hand luggage and also, I can get overnight transit in ARN thus saving a night of hotel, and that doesn't seem to be the option for cash tix on what I have observed from the limited sample point that I saw.

The only land transit in Sweden is SFT to LLA which seems to be not expensive or far.


Hitting a few cities in Sweden but because I haven't done enough research and had to book quickly before the deal expires.i am hitting only 6 new airports (been to Gothenburg but not the airport as I had visited with my parents 12 years ago busing from Oslo)

It is interesting that there are very few overnight transit for Norway domestic ticket and I can only find those when I travel to and from KKN - I had initially plan to fly to kkn separately but each tix is 26 euro in fee so maybe it is best to minimize the number of award tix.

However, I can pad an overnight in ARN in all of my intra Sweden tix. It doesn't always work for all city pair due to award space. I debate against going to KRN because I couldnt find the public bus info the ice hotel and Sept is probabaly not the most exciting time to go there anyways. (I can use choice points for the ice hotel)

Will take a ferry from GOT to Denmark and the fly another domestic award to FAE and end in BLL.

End with less than 60k miles used for the SAS Nordic adventure.

Hotel are done with either choice points or airport except needing Airbnb in HFT

I remember long time ago (12 years). Norway choice hotels is always 16k points (I went to OSL BGO and TOS only). While one could get a lot of 8k hotels in Sweden. The situation seems have changed. In many cities, 12k choices point in Norway is fairly common and the higher end o 15k.
TRD even has a 10k hotel (which I plan to spend two nights there)

However, there is only 1 8k hotel that I can find in Sweden. And it is in Sundsvall. And GOT no longer has 8k home hotel (clarion hotel collection that I stayed previously with my parents.)
