Personally I find the multiseat to be of good value. And if you don't want to pay just yet, they become free 48 hours before departure for HVCs. Have a look at the seat map to see how many of them are free right now, and take a gamble accordingly.

I would 100% not go for a normal econ seat at the back hoping that you get moved once onboard. If that doesn't pay off you will pay the price in misery
