PMCO's 2-2-2 bulkhead seats were the most comfortable for sleeping. Nothing they have today, on any carrier, is as comfortable. All of the privacy features of today just mean that I have less actual room for my shoulders and arms. As for the food, I used love the Tamale-stuffed Chicken. It was fantastic by comparison to anything around today.

I actually don't know where they're supposed to board but I bought my daughter an UG to P+ recently and she showed-up in Group 4 on her boarding pass (she's a General member).
