Just as a word of caution, I used this facility at AMS a very long time ago (to get a refund of ~€5) and had to wait a long time as there were PRC visitors in front of me getting refunds in the hundreds of €. Might be different these days. I don't recall whether the customs stamping was done airside or landside.
