I'm flying with a 5-year old kid, so I want a way to quickly get to him if required. My experience with the Cirrus seats on other airlines is that it's easier to be sat across the aisle (e.g. A and E or F and L) than in the middle seats (E and F), as in the middle seats there's no way to cross. Would that also be the case on AF?
Also, is there any benefit with row 10 (10E, F)? From what I'm reading, it looks like the footwell is not bigger and there might even be less storage (?), so I might be better off in row 11 than 10.

Yes, for kid travel, it's better to be across the aisles, and AF will in fact likely not allow you to choose any seats that aren't you in center and kid in window.
