The #NewT1 will improve travel for all at SAN and reflect San Diego’s spirit —open, bright, welcoming and future-ready. In honor of National Travel & Tourism Week, we’re answering some of your most common questions:
-When is the New Terminal 1 opening?
The first phase opens in September.
-What airlines will be flying out of New T1?
Phase 1a. @southwestair , @flyfrontier , @spiritairlines , @breezeairways , @jetblue , @suncountryair. In early 2026, @aircanada and @westjet will move over. In early 2028, @delta moves into phase 1b.
-What food will be served at New T1?
