Got upgraded from Silver to Gold (for the first time) one month ago. Since that time have not received membership pack - only received 2 luggage tags. (ordered about 8!)

Anyway, the tags are in the new style, and although I am sure I will get use to them in time, I really hate them!

Does anyone agree with the following?:

1. Silver cards/tags are smarter than Gold ones (old or new)

2. Old style is smarter than new style (silver or gold)

Does anyone know?:

1. Whether all cards being issued now are in new style? If not, who gets new and who gets old or is it random? (I am EU member)

2. Whether roll-out of new style cards is linked to roll-out of new style exec club?
