So for better or worse I have so experience in this space, albeit 6 years dated. Applied for a passport for one of my kids in Aug 2018. Got it back and didnt pay it any attention. Say her name is Mary Smith. In Nov we get to JFK for an AY flight to HEL and the AY agent says the passport says Mary Mary for first name/last name. And she was right. We go over to an AA desk, who had ticketed the booking, and endured 45 minutes of waiting not knowing what would happen. Ultimately they changed the ticketed pax to Mary Mary, and we carried on. Very thankful for the help. But JFC what does that say about the security facade.
