this is today's schedule for trains passing through EWR. You tell me:

only 133 and 193 NER originate from NYP, plus the two Keystone.

yes, some are other directions, passing through NYP from the south.

you seem to be under the impression most Amtrak trains start and end in NYC, which is not true. Most Northeast Regional trains start from Boston/Springfield (north) or DC/VA (south). Some do originate from NYC, which i have never disputed.
