6 rows of economy comfort, half empty plane… who has a seatmate… I did not move my flights and seat has been selected for over 5 weeks. The seatblocking really is at a less than 30% success-rate lately. Of course still super happy with Ultimate and all… but if things like this aren’t doable… don’t mention it as a benefit and just make it happen as a surprise.
I have to say that, with AF since the beginning of the year, it worked very well. I even had several flights where there was only 1 seat left unoccupied in the whole plane and it was the one adjacent to mine !
