Suggest extra buffer. Unlike NJT, most Amtrak trains on the NEC do not originate out of NYC, and is often delayed.

Also pro tip when traveling on Amtrak ex Moynihan Station, do not line up like sheeps at Moynihan. There are multiple other access points where you can head down platform level without crowding.
