I also did an overnighter there on Wednesday evening. Had the same issue with the tub (no issue for me now but in 15 years??). Breakfast in the restaurant is preferable over the lounge and the Hotel Hoppa is usually decently reliable to both T2 and T5.
The points posting thing is still an annoyance. £117 and I got 44 base points plus the 75% Titanium bonus (+1,000 welcome gift).
