This world has much bigger problems, but would AA proactively reach out to offer a gesture of miles? Is it worth asking customer service/Twitter team (paid F/CK)? Just curious (please save the “snark”)…but how AA has responded in similar situations in recent months as they work towards becoming more “premium”

thanks!
I’d report it in via the “complaint” section of the website and just say ‘hey this is what happened, it was frustrating as I had planned to eat on the plane, and I’m reporting it so that this doesn’t happen in the future’. This way it raises it to their attention without being pushy for miles. I suspect you will get a call and / or miles.
