Also... this has reminded me why I've been generally avoiding SFO: It is a terrible airport for trying to stock up (at least for those of a certain taste) -- I usually like to grab a bottle of something carbonated before a flight so that I can consume as desired during phases of the flight when beverage service isn't forthcoming (anywhere from "the entire flight" to "takeoff and landing" depending on the stage length and crew). SFO sells nothing (that I've found) resealable -- only 12 ounce pop-top cans. The idea of walking through an airport, let alone dealing with a open container in flight and the loss of carbonation and risk of spillage makes the entire thing about as unpalatable as most of UA's catering. (Yes, I do have odd and picky tastes -- but SFO is the only airport on the planet 28 countries and 116 airports I've visited where I haven't been able to find at least a bottle of Coke that could be reclosed -- from AKL to ULN to SCE to LAX)
