You're talking about 2 different things. What Hyatt calls "Suite Upgrade Awards" are per night awards, 3k or 6k points per night on top of a paid rate. What Hyatt calls "Complementary Suite Night Awards" are earned by reaching Milestones and are good for up to a 7-night stay. Calling the latter "SUAs" is common here on FT but is also misleading.
