Not only that (actually the 36k miles are not at all the issue here!), but if you take those Swiss flights prior to crediting at least 2 flights with Aegean/Olympic, then you will reach the silver tier with 35.000 star alliance miles (these Swiss flights should give you, according to wheretocredit, just under 36.000 miles) and so then you will *lose* all these tier miles!

If on the other hand you take 2 Aegean flights before this long haul trip (just the cheapest you can find in, for example, "light"), then take the long-haul and then again fly 4 more times with Aegean with the cheapest possible tickets (but no miles redemption flights!) then you're gold basically just with that long haul!
