Rooms are clean and modern. Hate the tub - who takes a bath at any hotel these days ? Plus this one is the usual high step in at many UK hotels - makes it dangerous.

The lounge offers a Happy Hour (actually 2 hours) that has beer and wine but no spirits . The food part is not the usual feeding frenzy of serve yourself from trays of food . It is plate of a 4 starter pieces and a desert. It (and the beer/wine) is served by staff You really can't sub this for a light dinner.

The plan was to eat at the VS Clubhouse before the flight so didn't look too hard at brekkie offerings, but my remembrance was that it was on the light side. I would look at the restaurant for breakfast if you have elite status.

We have stayed here a few times and fine it OK for a one nighter. Nothing warm and charming but it is a high volume airport hotel. Housekeeping is in constant motion all day.

Airport offered transport to T3 for 23 pounds. 10 minutes to T3
Did you get the sense that they would give you a second plate if you asked?
