Why not just use the 'Pay My Way' feature on Hyatt's website? This allows you to select points or cash for each individual night. Also, curious if any one has any luck applying one SUA to multiple reservations on a non-refundable prepaid rate. I tried to do this before but was denied by the Globalist line as they said only the hotel can merge the reservations now, and they transferred me to Park Hyatt Chicago which also denied the request. Booking 2 nights then 3 nights on cash was cheaper than booking all 5 nights together. They told me I would need 2 SUA so I didn't go through with the booking and just booked a 3 night stay.
