I think Robb might have suggested something similar, but I would not mind it if someone were to post a LocalTalk-specific question in TravelBuzz, it could reside there for a few days to get responses, but eventually, it would be moved to the appropriate LocalTalk selection by a moderator. That way, if someone does a search (assuming the feature comes back), the user would be pointed to the appropriate forum and, should they decide to resurrect the thread and add onto it, the discussion would be held in the proper forum.
I think this would reduce clutter in TravelBuzz, encourage users to use LocalTalk more, reduce the instances of duplicate threads, and assist in people being able to search and find threads effectively.
I do want to say that I hope richard does not think I am complaining about his moderation; I think he does a good job and I thank him for volunteering.
