Technically, since it is the same system, I would assume that the cut off is also 20 minutes, though in practical terms, you'd want to get on the bus in T3 a lot earlier than 20 minutes before departure.
I am assuming that your luggage will be checked through, so you are just doing bag drop in T3? Despite the separate tickets. They can do check in, but might take a bit longer as it is really a bg drop counter for tagged luggage.
I'm not sure if my bags will be checked through. It's DL>JL and, while JL has interline agreement with DL, it's on separate tix and so these things are sort of dependent on the counter agent at the origin airport.
I thought the security was at T3 just prior to boarding the bus. But I've only ever done this for connection to domestic NH, not JL.
Yeah I'll definitely get on a bus that leaves at least 30min prior to departure, ideally earlier. Just was wondering if there was a cutoff for it.
I'm starting to wonder if 3:15 layover time is cutting it too close.
