I'm glad that works out for you. But the OP in this thread doesn't seem to quibble with the possibility of a GUC not clearing into D1, but was questioning why s/he wasn't in this particular case.
I hope you have continued luck. If being in Premium Select would make me "cry", though, I would not rely on luck.
