Rankings like these often leave much to be desired, because after many years and many trips, it is difficult to remember all the hotels you have visited, especially for me who only recently started keeping track (essentially to monitor the costs and points received).
I must also say that seeing this thread intrigued me and pushed me to search in the depths of my memory, also with the help of some old invoices that I had kept and, more recently, from the confirmation emails that had remained on my computer without being deleted.
Totally useless, however, the Personal Data Request / Data Subject Access request to Hilton (I got the idea from what was suggested here in a previous post), because the spreadsheet they sent me with all my activity covers only the period 2019-2025, without any information regarding the previous 25 years.
Given these premises, I am reasonably sure that I have visited approximately 250 hotels of the Hilton portfolio (with a margin of error that I can limit to ±5%) including in this total at least 15-20 properties that have been deflagged. I did not count hotels that entered the Hilton portfolio after I stayed there (although I have mentioned some of them because they were the first hotels of that brand that I visited), while I only counted once hotels that changed their names or brands within the Hilton family.
● The very first Hilton I visited was the Hilton Vienna Park, in the summer of 1990 (probably August), at the time the only Hilton in the city and under a different name (maybe simply Hilton Vienna). The following day I had a stay at the Hilton Budapest, first Hilton hotel to open in Eastern Europe.
● First Hilton stay in USA in1992 (my Honors joining date is dec1992, but with a few stays before that date), I am not sure about the location, but probably was the Hilton STL or Hilton SEA.
● The city where I have stayed the most at Hilton portfolio hotels is London, where I believe I have stayed in over 50% of the 68 hotels currently listed on hilton.com in the London area.
The second place where I have stayed in the most Hilton hotels is Dubai, where I have also stayed in half of the hotels listed on the hilton.com website.

● Hilton
Hilton Hotels are where I spend the most time. I can't count how many Hilton I've stayed at, at the moment, as I've completely forgotten about some hotels, while others have changed brands and chains. However, I can estimate a figure between 100 and 130 hotels.
● Doubletree by Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton by Hilton
I have grouped the 3 brands in decreasing order of number of stays. Here too I cannot, at least for the moment, make an exact calculation of how many stays I may have had, but surely in total they are not less than 80.
If I remember properly my first stay at a Doubletree was in 1992 or 1993, at the Doubletree at SEA-TAC, at that time non yet under the Hilton umbrella. From the confirmation emails still on my computer, my first stay at an HGI would appear to have been in April 2009 at the Hilton Garden Inn Rome Airport, and my first Hampton stay was, again in 1992-93, at an Hampton Inn (at the time not yet in the Hilton family) between Seattle and Everett, where I remember I received an upgrade to a very nice suite.
● Curio Collection by Hilton
V Dubai
Grand Tirolia Kitzbuhel (left Hilton portfolio)
Hart Shoreditch
Wasserturm Cologne
The Gantry London
Sasky Krakow
● Tapestry Collection by Hilton
The Samuel Ryder, St. Albans UK
Palazzo Caracciolo, Naples Italy (independent, but listed under tapestry brand)
Ambasciatori Venice Mestre
● Embassy Suites
Embassy Suites Waikiki Beach Walk
● LXR Hotels & Resorts
Dubai Al Haabtor (first hotel to bear the LXR brand, left Hilton portfolio 1 May 2024)
● Canopy by Hilton
Cannes
● Spark by Hilton
London Romford (was the first Spark to open in Europe, 2024)
● SLH
La Medusa Dimora di Charme, Castellammare di Stabia
Furore Grand Hotel
This is the brand where I have the most difficulty calculating the number of stays made. If I only take into account the SLH hotels available in the Hilton portfolio and bookable on hilton.com I have to consider only the two hotels I wrote above.
I did not make SLH reservations when they were in the Hyatt portfolio. However, if I also take into account the hotels booked in the past on the SLH site or directly (at lower prices than booking on slh.com) I have probably to consider another 15-20 hotels.
