Losing the largest airline at the airport must be very disruptive to that employee group. The new provider is scrambling to get everything going.
United chose the new supplier, United is the one to blame for the current mishaps. I'm sure the choice was based primarily on cost so I hope for the decision-makers at UA who made this deal that they don't lose too much money from these mishaps or else they may be joining the gate gourmet workers on the unemployment rolls.
