I am scheduled to arrive 14:15, have a 17:30 domestic connection from T1 (separate tix).
Assuming the flight lands 30min late and the immigration/bag/customs takes 1:10, I should still barely be able to make the 1-hr bag check cutoff at JAL’s T3 transfer desk just in the nick of time.
But after this, I have to head over to one of the parcel companies and ship off a bunch of stuff. That will take at least 15min. I’m hoping to catch the 16:51 inter-terminal bus which should get me to T1 by 17:00.
I did not know there was a specific timetable listed for the bus past the domestic security check in T3. There is a 16:51 bus I can find, but that's the standard inter terminal bus. Where you'd need to do security in T1 afterwards.
Technically, since it is the same system, I would assume that the cut off is also 20 minutes, though in practical terms, you'd want to get on the bus in T3 a lot earlier than 20 minutes before departure.
I am assuming that your luggage will be checked through, so you are just doing bag drop in T3? Despite the separate tickets. They can do check in, but might take a bit longer as it is really a bg drop counter for tagged luggage.
