Really don't understand why it's so important to some people.
If you look around the F cabins of domestic airlines that have PTV IFE at every seat, you will find the majority of screens in use.

You might not understand why it's so important to people but if you actually look around the cabin and observe people on airlines that have it, you will find it is widely used.
