If they're going to let me plug in and use it as an external monitor on my laptop, then great. Otherwise, you're just giving me a curated set of somebody else's content on a screen that's only 2 1/2 feet from my face. Mine ends up set to the in-flight map regardless of the airline or the size of the screen.

I'm not saying it's not useful for some people: I'm sure it is. But it doesn't move the needle for me. I'd rather have no IFE and more legroom, personally.
