in town for the weekend to visit family, went with the Swissotel. At check in, referred to as Platinum (gasp). The rooms are well maintained and dinner and bar on the 30th floor were lovely. Might try the new movenpick next time, though. Staff was a bit off and hotel feels a little tired.

no mention of upgrade and told to use drink vouchers via the app. Drink selection at bar was very limited. Diamond gift was a hand written note, fruit and macron. No Ladurée for sure, but nice.
