I'd go with tolerable as a fair adjective

I’ve observed that the security staff generally become most combative in direct response to the behaviour of the passenger. In Manchester if you give attitude you’re going to get it back, not saying that’s acceptable just making an observation.
I’ve been lucky with the lounge queues at T3, no more than a couple ahead of me. Not been so lucky in T2 when catching a morning or early afternoon flight. As for the corridor, I like it!! Much easier to negotiate group boarding. Most people line up along the wall, and step out to move forward when their group is called. The biggest problem is Gold & Silvers congregating and trying to block people (and wheelchairs) boarding by standing in front of the doors instead of lining up like everyone else.
The number of times I’ve had to shove them out of the way, shouting “Group 0 coming through, shift, know your place” 😁
