More PP seats is a good idea, but if they sacrifice seat padding in exchange for more seats and less pitch, that is a bad idea.
I sat in the PP seat at the Brooklyn event. The padding is excellent. I asked -- and the model was a "production" seat, not produced for the show.
Also, the "standard" (i.e. non-Studio) Polaris 2.0 J seat seems to have more foot-space than the current version, but not as much as the current row 1/9 seats. A decent compromise.
