"Thank you for reaching out to us.
Neutralizing the seat next to yours is generated automatically, whenever possible, and is not our responsibility.
If you'd like to be sure of having no-one next to you, you can purchase a courtesy seat as soon as you book.

I know that system is blocking seat on its own (55h before the flight?), but when I was doing last minute changes (for example I was sitting in the middle of the plane, and now there are openings in the earlier rows and I would like to move forward) I was dropping e-mail or calling TA. But it looks like I cannot do that anymore?
In general the TA is definitely not able to block the seats next to you. But, as with almost everything, not everyone in the TA team is the same. Some of the more senior agents can request this but they're not always on duty.

If you do change and ask the TA, and they Aya they can't do it, sometimes it's wirh pointing out the name of the person who did it last time. Then they queue it up for that person, in my experience.
