I’m not convinced ‘bad’ is a fair adjective to describe MAN. Yes at peak times there are queues but these are nowhere near as bad as they were. I’ve found the security staff are far less aggressive and impatient these days. The main problem with T3 is it’s general ambiance, it appears crowded - even when it isn’t - probably due to its low ceilings and general lack of ambient light in places. The lounge is pleasant enough, but can be very busy with noise levels higher than ideal.
The whole terminal is in desperate need of some TLC, and that TLC is apparently about to be given.

I really wouldn’t worry, you’ll find security less stressful and quicker than the typical Harry Reid experience and at least there is a lounge that will provide a reasonable (in airport terms) meal and refreshments.
